C.C. good job by both of you. In our little neck of the woods I have only seen one E cart. It was downtown on a very busy street. The only time we have seen any witnesses around here is at grocery stores and restaurants. They are very easy to spot. Everyone including the kids are all dressed up. They look so out of place around here. Right now it is 0 degrees with a wind chill of -26 with snow and blowing snow. So I don't think I will be seeing any E carts on street corners today. Lol. E cart witnessing on our way to see Shen Yun in San Francisco
by cha ching intoday, i took the day off to go with my husband to san francisco on bart to see shen yun.
coming out of the station, were two elders at a watchtower cart!
my husband loves to witness to them.. started off with a smile and they smiled back and he told them he had been associated with jehovah's witnesses and now he is not but he wishes to tell them that even though they are going to hear things that are upsetting in the news, there is life after jehovah's witnesses.. they smiled and asked him if they could ask what religion he has gone to, or what he is doing now.

Why do ex-JW's talk so much about being ex-JW's?
by Sour Grapes inis it because we were in the cult watchtower compound that we talk about being ex-jw's when we stop being active?
i have never heard anyone say that i was an ex-catholic or an ex-lutheran or an ex-baptist.
they just stop going to their church and don't talk about it.. years after not stepping inside a kingdom hell, many of us still have to talk about being ex-jw's.

I feel being in the cult is like being in a coma for a long time. You are unable to do anything outside your bed. The doctor and nurses have total control over you. You can't talk to anyone even though you may be able to hear and understand what is being said. You are totally cut off from all society. All you know is what goes on in the 4 walls around you.
Then after a long time in that coma you wakeup. You are able to think and speak for yourself. No one is controlling every aspect of your life anymore. But you find out how many years of life was wasted. How being on your own is difficult dealing with normal living. Then depression, anger and frustration sets in. All you can talk about is the unique events you went through. This web site is like a life preserver for all of us. Helping us get over the coma we were all in. Born-in. My wife and I totally escape April of 2011. Went to a small community Church my wife gone to as a little girl. She came with me because unlike her I never was ever in a church before. I was searching to see if the Wt. was telling the truth about other religions. It was nothing like they said. After six months we left because the pastor was ragging on atheist and my wife was at that point already. I soon came to that same conclusion.
I have many reasons on why I am a atheist now but I feel those who do believe in a god is great but religious institution are the corrupting factors that cause most of the problems in this world. And cause their followers to do and say crazy things. This is my belief in a nutshell. Still Totally ADD

Here in Western NY our highs for the week have been 16 - 5 degrees F with about 2 ft. Of snow on the ground. In the Western part of our county they have almost 6 ft. of snow on the ground. This coming Friday and Saturday our highs are forcast to be 0 degree with lows at -10 F. Boy it is cold outside. Still healing from back surgery so I am warm and cozy inside our house. Damn punkofnice great comment. Your line saying 100 years from now we will be dead and all of this won't matter is exactly what I have told other folks through the years. I have found that statement makes many start to think. Conspiracy theory's have always been fun to listen to but after hearing them you soon find out most are if not all nonsense.
By the way my father was in the air force as a radio man on B 29's during WW 2 bombing Japan. At the end of the war the U.S. showed a sign of force by flying all there B 29 over Japan 500 ft. off the ground to show how hopeless it was for the Japanese to continue the war. This was soon after the two nukes was drop on them. My father plane flew over both those city's and saw the destruction those atom bombs did. He even saw the first atom bomb the U.S. would drop. He said it was smaller than the regular bombs they was dropping. Most thought who saw it that it wouldn't do much damage. Little did anyone know the atomic age was beginning.

Prophecy question as hysteria sets in
by Isambard Crater ina load of j.w's in my family and the congregation i attend as a pimo have been saying the end is very close because the anglo american world superpower is clearly still the king of the south, and russia is now clearly king of the north due to persecuting and banning the religion there and seizing property.. i've forgot what the religion used to teach and maybe still does, about the timing of all this king of north + south stuff, the attack on all religion by the u.n and then the attack on j.w's who will be left standing.
i mean, i thought jehovah was going to put it into the u.n's minds to ban or attack all other religions, then the attack on j.w's, but witnesses seem to think the end is so, so close because russia has banned them.. it's sad, as some dubs i know have sold their homes and made other big decisions so they can pioneer in these 'very last of the last days'..
